I am a Fine Arts student specializing in Painting, with a passion for exploring color, light, and the expressive possibilities of paint. My practice moves between observation and imagination, often transforming everyday scenes, places, and visual experiences into expressive compositions. My work explores identity through everything except the face. Texture, pattern, and dimension carry what expression usually would. Every piece built from layered surfaces, patterns that repeat and break, and a constant push toward something you feel more than see. I've been painting since I was four years old. Now, at seventeen, it sits alongside boxing, school, and horse riding. Not because I balance them with discipline, but because I don't know who I'd be without any of them. Painting especially was never a job to me, and it was never about the money. It's the one place I go to think without having to explain myself.

I'm an artist based in Egypt, graduated from pharmacy school in 2017, but I made a career shift into business development and proposal writing - basically writing and managing projects for a living. It’s a job that lets me flex my storytelling muscles, and honestly, I love it. I do digital drawings of characters and animals I see around me, and sometimes I am inspired by ideas from my friends - basically, I make their imaginations come true using a pen and paper.

Rovae is a contemporary abstract artist working primarily with oil on canvas. Her paintings explore human emotions, memories and inner states through colour, texture and layered surfaces. She creates works that invite the viewer to pause, feel and find their own meaning within the painting.
