1. Who we are

Tuhfa is operated by Filthy Good Tech., at our studio in Cairo, Egypt. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at hello@filthygood.co or WhatsApp.

2. Scope

This policy explains how we collect and use personal data when you browse Tuhfa, create an account, buy artwork, or apply to sell as an artist. It is governed by Egyptian Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020 and its Executive Regulations, and should be read together with our Terms & Conditions for Collectors and, for artists, our Terms & Conditions for Artists.

3. Information we collect

We collect the personal data you give us directly, including:

• Account details: your name, email address, and password.
• Order details: your first and last name, phone number, email, and delivery address, so we can process and deliver your order.
• Artist application details: your legal name, display name, bio, and the portfolio images and information you submit if you apply to sell on Tuhfa.
• Anything you send us directly, for example when you contact us by email or WhatsApp.

We also collect some information automatically as you use the site, such as which pages you visit, the device and browser you're using, and how you interact with the site. This is described further in section 6.

We do not collect or store your full payment card details. Card payments are handled directly by our payment provider.

4. How we use your information

We use your personal data to:

• Create and manage your account.
• Process, deliver, and support your orders, including refunds and returns.
• Review and manage artist applications and listings.
• Respond to your enquiries and provide customer support.
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or misuse of the site.
• Understand how the site is used so we can maintain and improve it.
• Meet our legal and regulatory obligations.

5. Who we share it with

We share your name, delivery address, and contact number with our delivery partners, only as needed to deliver your order.

We share payment details with our payment provider, only as needed to process your payment.

We do not share your contact details with artists without your consent, and we do not sell your personal data to anyone.

We may disclose personal data where we are required to by law, or to protect our rights, our users, or the public.

6. Analytics and error monitoring

We use analytics tools to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed and which buttons are clicked. This data is tied to a device identifier stored in your browser, not to your name, unless you are signed in.

We also use error-monitoring tools that automatically capture technical details when something goes wrong on the site, such as the page you were on and your browser version, so we can find and fix the problem.

You can limit this by adjusting your browser's privacy settings, for example blocking local storage or third-party scripts, though some parts of the site may not work as well as a result.

7. How long we keep it

We keep your personal data for as long as your account is active and for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy, including handling any dispute, return, or refund, and meeting our legal, accounting, and reporting obligations. When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

8. Data security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data appropriately.

9. Your rights

Under Egyptian Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request that we correct it, request that we delete it, and object to or restrict certain uses of it, subject to the exceptions the law provides.

10. Children

Tuhfa is not directed at children, and you must be at least 18 years old to buy through Tuhfa. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has given us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The version published on this page is the one that applies.
