Kerolles Ragai

My artistic practice is rooted in oil painting and contemporary visual expression, combining academic training with personal experimentation. I am drawn to exploring human emotions, cultural identity, and everyday Egyptian life through figurative and conceptual imagery. My process usually begins with an idea or a simple sketch, then develops intuitively as the painting takes shape. I am particularly interested in the balance between realism and contemporary concepts, and in creating works that invite the viewer to look beyond the surface and discover their own interpretation. What attracts me most to art is its ability to transform personal experiences and observations into visual language, while maintaining honesty and spontaneity within the artistic process.
