The In-Between is an original figurative sculpture that was part of a bigger project called UTOPIA Utopia is a sculptural exploration of the paradox within the human pursuit of an ideal world. Yet , we never fully reach this world. The work explores the tension between where we are and what we believe we should become. The human body is stretched toward an ideal that remains beyond its reach, placing the figure in a perpetual state of being in between. Within the larger Utopia project, this is the beginning of the transformation: the desire for the ideal.
