أول مرة رأيت فيها هذا التمثال المصري القديم، بدت لي هذة الفتاة كعارضة أزياء تمشي أمام الجمهور، أبهرتني برشاقتها وجمالها الذي يمكنك تمييزه فورًا، مع أن فلسفة الفنان المصري القديم لم تبالغ في إظهار جمال الجسد البشري مقارنةً بالفن في الحضارة الرومانية مثلًا. لم أستطع مقاومة رسمها بكل تفاصيلها، وهو ما كان صعبًا في بعض الأحيان، خاصةً عندما أردت إظهار حركة ساقيها من تحت ملابسها ذات النقوش الكاملة. اخترت خلفية بسيطة لجذب الانتباه، ثم وضعت تلك الشرائط المنسدلة لتقليل المساحة حولها. جرب الآن أ، تفعل الآتى، ضع عينيك و ركز على وجهها وستجده مليئًا بالثقة، ارفع نظرك إلى ذراعها وستشعر وكأنها مهتمة بالقربان الذي فوق رأسها، انزل نظرك إلى قدميها وستشعر بخطواتها الجريئة نحو هدفها، وأخيرًا انظر إلى ذراعها الممدودة وستشعر بعزيمتها وكأنها تحمل سلاحًا وليس مجرد أوزة، ارجو ان تستمتع باللوحة. I couldn't resist to paint her in full details which was challenging sometimes especially when I wanted to show the movement of her legs from underneath her full patterns clothe, I chose a simple background in order to force the eye to concentrate with her, then I put those drop down strips to reduce the space around her .
