عندما أفكر في هذه الرسمة أول ما يتبادر إلى ذهني هو مقدار الوقت الذي أظن أنى استغرقته من أجل الانتهاء منها، وأنا أقول (أطن) لأنني بصراحة لم أحسب الوقت، كنت فقط أحاول إنهاءها بأسرع ما يمكن حتى أتمكن من وضعها كصورة غلاف لقناتي على اليوتيوب التي كنت على وشك إصدارها في بداية عام 2019، ربما إنتابني هذا الشعور بالإستعجال لأنه عندما يحين الوقت نشعر بنوع من العناد، فعندما تريد أن يتباطأ الوقت، يجرى سريعاً، وعندما تريد أن يمضي بسرعة، يزحف بطيئاً، أعتقد أننا جميعًا جربنا هذا, أليس كذلك؟على أية حال، واصلت العمل على هذا الرسم بإصرار لتحقيق أكبر قدر ممكن من الدقة، فقد كنت أرسمها إعتماداً على صورة, أما بخصوص الخلفية فقد قمت برسمها من خيالى و بطريقة بسيطة حتى لا تجذب الأنظار بعيداً عن العناصر الرئيسية، و بالنسبة الحجم الخارجي للرسمة فقد كنت حريصاً على أن يتناسب مع الهدف الذي رسمته من أجله لهذا فقد تجده غير معتاد، أتمنى أن تستمتع به. When I think about this drawing, the first thing that comes to mind is how much time I *think* I spent finishing it—and I say "think" because, honestly, I didn’t actually track the time. I was simply trying to complete it as quickly as possible so I could use it as a cover image for my YouTube channel, which I was about to launch in early 2019. Perhaps this sense of urgency stemmed from that familiar, stubborn way time behaves: when you want it to slow down, it races ahead, and when you want it to move quickly, it crawls. I think we’ve all experienced this, haven’t we? In any case, I persisted with the drawing, striving for the greatest possible accuracy—working from a reference image. As for the background, I created it from my imagination, keeping it simple so it wouldn’t draw attention away from the main elements. I was also careful to ensure the overall dimensions of the piece suited its intended purpose, which is why the format might seem a bit unconventional. I hope you enjoy it.
