The main artwork out of my project titled “Unraveled”, the first painting out of five. This acrylic painting titled “Are You There?” explores one’s relationship with their inner child and the complex emotions, comparisons, judgments, feelings of anger, jealousy, and contradiction, the "holy" child free from sin and the mature self searching for identity and asking: am I still an angel, or has the "angel" become a devil?
